Lisa Cocks has worked in the life insurance industry in the role of an independent broker for the last 6 years. Lisa is an independent broker who specialises in providing advice to clients on how to minimalise financial risk to themselves, their families and businesses. Lisa has completed a Bachelor of Arts (Management & Education) and is in the process of completing her Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland. Andrew has 14 years experience in the investment advice arena. Andrew began his career in the UK (he has been in New Zealand for eight years and have been providing investment advice to clients during this time) working for the UK's largest Investment Consultancy firm, Mercers, providing trustees and individual members of superannuation plans with structural portfolio advice and in this role he was heavily involved in funds management research. Since his move to New Zealand, he has worked giving private clients advice on their portfolios and to corporates on their superannuation structure. Andrew has gained honours in BA (Financial Economics) from Kingston University and has a Diploma of Financial Planning, he is also undertaking the CFP mentoring program. Andrew is a member of the IIMR in the UK and the IFA in New Zealand. Andrew won the Prospero Financial Adviser of the Year Award in 2006. Mark Turnock has 14 years experience in finance including business finance, commercial and residential property finance, chattel finance and trade finance. Before initiating this latest venture, Mark worked for the National Bank of New Zealand, Medical Assurance Society, and most recently was the manager of the Finance division of a financial services company. Mark has a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics), a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics) from Auckland University and a Diploma in Banking from Massey University.
